The legacy of DeathAdder continues with the all-new Razer DeathAdder V2 which is an improved version of the DeathAdder Elite and has the capability to perform exceptionally well with improved accuracy. Before we move onto the review, let’s discuss some main features of Razer DeathAdder V2.
Razer DeathAdder V2 Specs:
DPI
DeathAdder V2 features up to 20,000DPI and 650IPS which is quite an upgrade from 16,000DPI and 450IPS. The DeathAdder V2 is deadly fast and haven’t seen anything like that in all these years of gaming. Razer DeathAdder V2 is also equipped with a state of the art optical sensor which provides up to 99.6% accuracy which is astonishing.
Design
Razer DeathAdder V2 features almost the same design as DeathAdder Elite but with minor tweaks. This time around, Razer DeathAdder V2 features 8 programmable buttons and speed flex cable to minimize the drag from the cable. The top side is almost identical with DeathAdder Elite and the sides seem to be the same as well. However, The bottom features some PTFE mouse feet which can provide a much better grip.
Swatches
This time around, Razer DeathAdder V2 is equipped with ‘Optical Mouse Swatches’ that can last for up to 70M clicks. In the recent versions, mechanical mouse swatches were used that could only last for 50M clicks. With optical mouse swatches, Razer DeathAdder V2 is deadly fast and can beat most of the mice out there in the market.
Weight
The weight of Razer DeathAdder V2 is around 82g which makes it one the most lightheaded mice available in the market. Most gamers like to play with the combo of lightheaded mouse and high DPI and this one can offer both of them.
Price
The all-new Razer DeathAdder V2 comes with the price tag of $70 which is quite reasonable if you ask me. There are many gaming mice out there in the market but DeathAdder V2 is already making some ground-breaking sales. Furthermore, You will also get a 2-year warranty as well if you buy from Razer’s official Website.
Razer DeathAdder Review
Razer is back in the business with their improved version of Razer DeathAdder Elite. The DeathAdder V2 is a very powerful beast that can outperform most of the gaming mice out there. The design is identical to the previous versions but this time Razer made some adjustments to make it more user-friendly for people with long hands.
Razer DeathAdder V2 also features the latest optical sensor technology and for the first time, we are seeing optical swatches in a DeathAdder mouse. This version is definitely the most advanced and improved version of the mouse that we’ve ever seen. They did all that while decreasing the weight which is also a plus point.
You can completely customize the RGB lights and customize the programmable buttons using the Razer’s software. A user will only have to customize the setting once because all the settings are then stored in the mouse so you don’t really have to open the software again and again to make the same changes.
Overall, The mouse looks amazing and it packs some serious specs that are definitely giving some tough challenge to their competitors at Logitech. The one thing that we would like to see would be a wireless DeathAdder mouse but it’s not happening anytime soon I guess.
It’s 2020 and most of the gamers are going for wireless mice to further increase their chance of winning but will DeathAdder V2 be able to perform as better as a wireless mouse? It’s anyone’s guess but we’ll see with time how this new version of DeathAdder will perform.
That’s All Folks!

There may be noticeably a bundle to know about this. I assume you made sure good points in features also. I wrote a review about new Razer Huntsman Mini keyboard: https://www.no1geekfun.com/razer-launches-a-countdown-to-60-keyboard/
